I started this blog to help inform people of where and how to find bargains on things they’ll need to survive an economic downturn.  While I intend to continue doing that, I find myself spending far more time explaining to people  why preparing for an economic downturn is necessary and how the government’s actions are actually causing one.  Please read through this information and look up what I am telling you. Folks, I really hate to sound like an alarmist, but after listening to some of the parts of last night’s speech by Obama, I have to say it’s time to take action. Make those preparations NOW, there is no time to waste.  If the Dems follow through on the energy plans that Obama glossed over last night, fuel prices will go through the roof and with them everything else that is dependent on fuel for its production or transportation. If you read accounts from people who lived through the Great Depression, crime went way up. Expect the same to happen here, especially with the large number of illegal aliens from south of the border who have invaded this country. Oh I know what you’re thinking. “He’s a racist”. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’m a realist. Illegal aliens  represent a substantially disproportionately high number of prison inmates for violent crime already. Why would anyone think they’ll be any less so if the economy gets worse and they aren’t able to find work either?

I’ve started adding a lot of new websites in the links area based on the category of what you’re looking for. I was intending to review each site first, but the time has gotten too short for that at the moment. I will review each site as time progresses. I will be adding new links and you’ll see I’ve added some new categories including low cost fitness instruction (physical fitness will be key to surviving a period of civil unrest.) and self defense instruction. I’ve also added links to plans for homestead construction.

This is to let you know that the next week may be a bit hectic as we are relocating to a retreat location away from the cities. Stock up and be safe. Get prepared for the economic mess that’s coming.

Folks, the Dems in Congress seem intent on forcing this debacle down our throats. We must NOT allow a vote on this bill in the Senate, as any legislation that will pass will immediately be thrown into conference committee and since they can walk in with a reasonable bill (this one isn’t) and turn around and pick up the House Debacle and walk out with that as the compromise bill and go straight to a reconciliation vote that requires only 51 votes to pass and is not subject to a filibuster. This bill MUST be stopped in the Senate or we will be stuck with a government run healthcare plan, no matter what. The taxes involved in this combined with the pending Cap and trade fraud will drive businesses out of this country. The reductions in payments to doctors will cause the number of doctors in this country to plummet. The number of specialists will fall as well seeing as they will have higher educational and malpractice insurance expenses with no more income than a general practitioner. Don’t think there will be “death panels”, how do you think they’re going to decide who gets to see the oncologist? The party official or the peaon that doesn’t wish to suck at the government teat?

As I reported here in October, the true agenda of the environmentalists has nothing to do with actually protecting the environment. It has to do with their desire to control the world’s population. That has been confirmed by at least two sources this week. One a representative of the Chinese government, and the other from Canada. Of course the fact that the Canadian author who was telling everyone else that they should only have one child is a mother of two doesn’t mean a thing… Many people don’t realize that Paul Ehrlich, the professor who wrote the now discredited “Population Bomb” was a mentor and collaborator with Obama’s Science Advisor John Holdren. Holdren has been linked to the global warming fraud that has been exposed with the release of emails, documents and computer code from the University of East Anglia Climate Research center a few weeks ago. While they are arguing about federal funding for abortions, Holdren as advocated federally mandated abortions.

As I write this, politicians from around the world are dining on caviar and trying to decide how to best steal the paychecks of hard working people in the industrialized world to prop up Marxist dictators’ corrupt regimes in the third world and line their pockets at the same time.

In their openness they’re using armed guards to prevent the scientists behind the Global Warming scam from being asked tough questions. The “scientist” in question is the very same Steven Schneider who has made the following statement about the need to LIE if necessary

Doesn’t anyone find it simply WRONG that this supposed scientist is telling his colleagues that it’s more important to be effective than honest? Is that what science is supposed to be about? Try that attitude in a college science class and see how far it gets you.

Today, it has come out that the Obama administration has threatened that if the Congress doesn’t pass jobs killing cap and trade legislation to its liking, it’s simply going to regulate emissions in a manner that will be even worse for businesses (and individuals) in this country. They seem to think that somewhere in the Constitution they were given dictatorial powers that are simply NOT THERE. It is now time for the people of this country to decide. Do they want to live under a dictatorship run by Obama ? Or do they want to be able to set their own thermostats, choose how large a house they want, choose the vehicles they want to drive, have as many kids as they want and can afford to care for (Note that the Democrats never tell a welfare recipient to stop having children while they’re on the public dole, but are damn determined to prevent those of us with jobs from having as many as we want.) what we can feed those kids, what medical insurance (and healthcare) we have, etc etc etc. Perhaps a new march on Washington  is in order. A march wherein those in power are forced to listen to the assembled masses’ petition for redress of grievances or face removal from power. If they refuse, we can shut down the federal government. We can block their ability to leave the buildings.

We can cut off their ability to communicate with anyone outside the buildings.

We can prevent them from having any food brought into the building.

We can force them to listen BEFORE they destroy this country. They are well on their way to destroying this republic. It has been written that all it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.  Since the evil ones have no intention of listening when we talk, perhaps we need to explain it to them a bit more vigorously. Actions speak louder than words. 150 yrs ago, these non representing representatives would’ve been tarred, feathered, and ridden out of town on a rail for even considering what they are currently intending to do. Have we, as a nation, become so weak in our temperment that we are no longer worthy of the freedoms given to, and preserved for, us by our forefathers? Have their sacrifices through 200+ years and the intervening wars been for nothing? Obama is not of our tradition. He was not raised to believe in freedom. When you and I were being taught the value of our freedoms and the men who fought for them, he was attending school in a corrupt dictatorship. When he returned to the US from Indonesia, he was raised by his socialist (a fascist ideology) grandparents and mentored by a Communist (another fascist ideology). By his own admission, he prefers the company to Marxists (who will never produce anything save the destruction of the human condition) over capitalists who work to improve said condition. He has surrounded himself with radical leftists. They have no ethical qualms with stealing from the productive to enrich themselves and their minions. They are willing to use the full power of the government to enrich themselves, destroy the middle class and those who earn more than they do, and then blame theresulting  destruction on those who they have destroyed. They must be stopped. If going back to tar and feathers is what it takes, so be it. Better to tar and feather a few thousand worthless politicians and bureaucrats than to impoverish, enslave and starve millions by allowing them to continue to pursue their corrupt agenda.

For those who don’t know a Fascist or totalitarian ideology is any ideology wherein the government controls every aspect of your life. This administration wants to control the very air you breathe. (Humans exhale CO2 for those of you who didn’t take biology in high school) If that doesn’t frighten you, you are literally or figuratively brain dead.

Well folks, as much as I hate to continue to harp on the global warming scam, the leftists who are currently in charge of our government simply do not seem to want to stop their economically catastrophic agenda and their toadies in the Main Stream Media keep hiding the truth for them. As more and more information comes out, it becomes increasingly clear that the entire model for the man made global warming/climate change is more than flawed, it is completely fabricated. The hysteria whipped to a frenzy not based on real science but on a fabricated agenda of global wealth redistribution aka “social justice”. Heaven forbid that those countries wherein people work hard, innovate and are productive actually have a better standard of living than those who live in a country that is controlled by a corrupt Marxist dictator and live as if it were still the 5th century.  Heaven forbid people who get educations, work hard and strive to excellence be permitted to have electricity, running water and single family homes while illiterate third world sheep and goat herders live in dung and straw huts.  That folks is exactly what the end game of the cap and trade legislation will be. To reduce the standard of living in this country to that of any given communist country is the goal of the radical environmentalists pushing this agenda.  I’ve posted their quotes here before. The people in DC have said that even though the emails, computer code and manipulated data leaked from the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit shows widespread fraud and collusion among Global Warming Alarmists, they intend to push through with their agenda to try and create an international organization to tax the US citizen for the energy we use and the food we eat. An international organization that won’t be acountable to US voters, and will put the US at the mercy of the petty tyrants of the world. Don’t we all just relish the idea of Hugo Chavez, Robert Mugabe, Putin and Fidel Castro dictating what our gas and electricity prices should be? That is what they want to do in Copenhagan.  Since the Senate has to ratify any treaty of that sort, Obama’s EPA has decided to take the opinion that CO2 is a pollutant that is hazardous to human health. Nevermind that plants require CO2 to live and produce OXYGEN, they’ve decided (not determined, as that would require real scientific research which this flies in the face of) to begin pushing regulations to punish those of us who do things like, use electricity, drive vehicles, heat or cool our homes, cook our meals, etc etc etc. THESE are ALL activities that will cost more if the radical leftists in the EPA get their way. Since the people who took them to court failed to make an understandable scientific argument to the Supreme Court, the EPA has been unleashed to regulate even the air we exhale as a pollutant. I still can’t find air quality regulation anywhere in the Constitution. In the last week, I have collected in excess of two dozen links to articles disputing the findings of the UEA CRU, and/or demanding an investigation into who knew what and when about this fraud. What does the head of the appropriate US senate committee have to say about all of this? Why Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) couldn’t care less about the actual content of the emails or the impact on the little people in fly over country that the cap and trade legislation could send into poverty (she’s got her $165,000+ a year pension sewn up) her only concern is finding and punishing the peope responsible for releasing this information to the public. Too bad the Democrats aren’t as concerned about securing the country as they are about securing their agenda of wealth redistribution from those who work for it to those who don’t.

Last week I wrote an article about how thousands of emails and documents were removed from the servers at the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia that proved that the top “scientists” proposing man made global warming had cooked the books to make their case. Since that time more information has been coming out in a flood of emails, computer code and manipulated data. This was clearly an example of collusion and, considering the amount of money in government and private grants involved, racketeering on a scale the Mafia only wishes they could pull off.

Is there outrage in the Main Stream Media over this obvious attempt to defraud the taxpayers of the world? Well, yes and no. The New York Times is outraged that someone hacked the computers (it’s looking more like a whistle blowing case every day though) and are refusing to print any of the “illegally” obtained materials. I guess releasing illegally obtained information is only acceptable to them when it will damage the security of the US or embarrass a Republican President.  For some reason the remainder of the US media isn’t exactly putting it on the front page either. One would think that the way man made global warming has been portrayed as such a devastating force, they’d be happy to know it’s been proven false. Then again, since they were so emotionally invested in it, perhaps they are going through the first stage of the grieving process which is, of course, denial.  At least one writer for the NY Post wasn’t very happy about her child coming home from school after being indoctrinated into believing the now exposed fraud. I guess Al Gore’s crockumentary can be taken off the curriculum at schools now huh? Perhaps lawsuits for mental anguish students suffered from the forced digestion of that tripe at the hands of agenda driven indoctrinators posing as educators are in order?

This entire thing stank from the beginning. The basis for any scientific discovery is something called “the scientific method”. It involves the recording of theories, all raw data, all methodology and all conclusions. To prove a theory, all raw data and methodology must be repeatable by every person who applies the same methodology to the same RAW data. If the methodology at any time produces results that contradict the theory, the theory is INVALID and must be recalculated or scrapped entirely. Since the scientists involved in this fraud have destroyed their raw data, and concealed their methodology until the computer code was released last week, they were obviously hiding the information from all but their trusted co conspirators. By reviewing their own articles, and refusing to allow publication of any articles that disputed their theory, they effectively manipulated the information. They also controlled what information was submitted to governments the world over, convincing them to stifle their economies, putting the health and welfare of millions of people at risk. How else would you describe causing widespread unemployment and inflation as well as retarding development that would improve the lives of literally billions of people?

There is no such thing as consensus in science. Something is either true or false, nothing in between. Al Gore’s claim that Man Made Global Warming is settled science is a LIE. Now we have PROOF that it was bogus from the start. What are the Politicians going to do about this? Well that depends on the politicians. Liberal policians with questionable morals are pushing for cap and trade agreements that will kill their economies and lower their standard of living. The Aussies have decided they prefer to have a strong economy, and those Aussie libs with real morals resigned rather than support their party’s economy devastating bill. Of course, those less scrupulous agenda driven politicians have decided that no amount of facts are going to stand in the way of their agenda, no matter how economically destructive it might be. That includes Obama’s Climate Czar, the known socialist, Carol Browner who said that the information had no bearing on their position on the matter. Or the head of the UN IPCC which has based all of its findings on this faulty data, and wants to tax the industrialized countries into 3rd world status to line their corrupt pockets.

  WHAT are our illustrious representatives in DC wasting their time (and of course OUR MONEY) on this week?  Why they’re spending BILLIONS of our tax dollars on … (Now hold your hats on this one)… High Speed rail.  I guess it’s not bad enough that US taxpayers have to subsidize that paragon of waste AMTRAK, or that height of efficiency and reliability the US Postal Service, they now want the US taxpayer to pay to build and operate a high speed inter city rail line like they use in Japan and Europe.  They just don’t seem to get that this isn’t freaking Europe or Japan.   This is the US.  High speed rail lines may work in tiny assed countries like France, or Germany, but this country is too damn large. Here’s a little info for those geographically challenged member of  the Democratic party supporting this. Paris, France to Berlin, Germany is only 659 miles. El Paso, Texas to Houston, Texas is 747 miles. US citizens rejected the widespread use of rail across the country decades ago when AIR travel became affordable. The morons in DC have already allocated between 8 and 12 BILLION dollars to this nonsense.  Considering the light rail (another boondoggle the taxpayers didn’t really want but was shoved down our throats) here in Phoenix cost over a Billion dollars to construct the 25 or so miles that it currently covers, AND loses around $250,000 a month to operate, exactly how much track do these idiots think they’re going to lay for 12 Billion dollars? I would guess that their idiotic plans might make sense up in the north east corridor, but folks the bulk of the country doesn’t live in the northeast corridor. This is going to be another fiasco like Boston’s Big Dig, the tunnel construction project that seems to go on forever and is the pinnacle of cost overruns, and shoddy workmanship. These people who are pushing this seem to have missed the lesson on economics about not building products or providing services that you don’t have the customers to pay for.  If such a project would’ve been economically viable (takes in enough in revenues to cover the cost of construction and operation) it would’ve been undertaken by the private sector years ago. Of course the stimulus bill this past spring included a few billion to build a high speed rail system from Anaheim (Disneyland, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein’s contituents) to Las Vegas (Casinos, Harry Reid’s constituents) which needs to be stopped before it’s even started because it’s not the job of government to spend tax payer money to fund things of such limited value as this. It’s an unconstitutional expenditure of tax payer money.  The Dems in government seem to believe that they live in the world of Kevin Costner’s “Field of Dreams” wherein if they build it, people will come. They fail to understand that their fantasy projects are being paid for with real money earned by people with real jobs. Perhaps following the next few elections, we can force these people to go back to having one that doesn’t involve a $160k+  a year salary, multiple multi week recesses, 3 day work weeks and a benefits package that makes the CEOs they constantly attack green with envy.

Unless you’ve been living in a box, or at least listening to the Main stream media this past week, you’d know by now that some hackers broke into the computers at the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in England and made off with thousands of documents and emails. Documents that should have been made available through a simple Freedom of Information Act request that the authors, in their own words, stated that they would not abide by and that they had in fact destroyed emails that were evidence of collusion in pushing an agenda in lieu of actually advancing science. Had a federal or corporate employee done that, they would be subject to jail time. Lord Lawson is seeking a public enquiry into the content of the documents. As are the Republicans in the US Senate. The fact that the Democrats are not doing so is a sign of their partisan ideology An ideology that won’t allow the facts stand in the way of passing bad legislation. I have sent an email to Senator Barbara Boxer to ask if she intends to be a prudent law maker and investigate before passing any legislation on global warming that will ultimately cost America MILLIONS of jobs. I don’t expect a response.  I am not anti environment. I’m anti BAD legislation that negatively impacts people’s lives without any real benefit to anything other than some environmentalist’s bank account or some politician’s ego driven power trip.

The emails and documents include statements from top global warming alarmists telling how they were going to boycott any scientific journal that printed any reports contrary to their theories, effectively blocking publication of information that would lead people to question the man made global warming model they were touting. A model that even their own emails indicate is only viable once they manipulate the data. Here’s one of the emails in question.

For those who don’t understand what that means, IT MEANS THEY FAKED DATA TO MAKE THEIR FINDINGS LOOK RIGHT. Basically they LIED about there being any global warming. They LIED about man causing any global warming, and when ANYONE tried to point out THE TRUTH that man made global warming was a fraud, they tried to ruin the person professionally. One of the parties to the fraud was a professor who was the leading source for the information leading to the economy killing Copenhagan treaty that Obama has now decided to go and sit in on the conference on next month. Anyone want to bet that our fearful leader will have the backbone to stand up and say, “Listen, until this BS with the fraudulent science used to come up with this is cleared up, I am NOT going to impoverish half of MY country, NOR am I going to sign over the sovereignty of MY country to ANY international organization.” ? I didn’t think so. Anyone want to bet that The wicked Bitch of the West Pelosi will stand up in the House of Representatives and say “In light of the FACTS that have come to light regarding the scientific fraud that was perpetrated against us by unscrupulous scientists, we are going to vote to throw out the previously passed Cap and Trade bill until at least solid, unbiased, irrefutable evidence that human activity is causing global warming is produced.” ? I didn’t think so.

I will put out more articles on this as more information becomes available. GOOD politicians would be publically crucifying these scientists for their actions. GOOD Journalists would be putting this information on the front page of EVERY MAJOR PAPER in the WORLD. It is hitting papers folks, just not the big ones in this country. The Wall Street Journal and Washington Times covered it. Why aren’t the LA Times, Washington Post, and New York Times screaming about how they were duped, and that Al Gore and his minions are shams? What does that say about the level of journalistic integrity at the major papers.  If any of those papers did cover this story, and will send me the link, I will happily retract my statement and add the link to their story to my next post.
