A couple of videos for your enjoyment Penn and Teller explain the Second Amendment , Penn and Teller on Gun Free Zones ,
And if you didn’t recognize or agree with the woman speaking in the Gun Free Zone video, here’s one that might make her comments more credible for the sheep who support gun free zones.
Dr. Suzanna Gratia Hupp talks to Congress
If you can’t defend it, it’s only yours until someone else decides otherwise. So if you’re going to be prepared to survive the initial disaster, prepare to survive the aftermath. Remember those thugs in New Orleans weren’t carrying out 42 inch cans of baby formula for their infant child. As this hasn’t been working quite the way I had hoped, I will simply work around the system and begin putting links for suppliers and information about the various firearms and ammo specials as I become aware of them.

…maby I am not getting the whole blog? I see no info yet. let me know what is going on here, LOL.
I wanted to pose a question or query. If one has a cache og items and you want to discourage anyone from snopping around it, would encouraging fire ants with a little food of some sort fire ants to nest above the buried cache work to discourage said individuals? I KNOW it would me, those things are MEAN! LOL
Just trying to think out of the taco shell, or box as the case may be.

Mark, the blog is new and I’m adding information as fast as I can come up with it. I wouldn’t want to encourage fire ants to do anything but die personally. They are nasty little beasties and I have had a few nests of them in my back yard. Emphasis is on HAD. I’ve found a few relatively environmentally safe pesticides that deal with them rather handily.
If I had a cache I didn’t want anyone snooping around, I’d probably just plant some rather nasty thorn bushes over the entire area. Something that occurs naturally in the area, but nasty enough to discourage anyone from wanting to dig through them to even see if anything was under them. Also as they might see the impact of the planting, they would think that the digging was a part of the planting and let it go at that.

This is going to be the first in a VERY LONG list of sourced of firearms, ammunition, accessories and information about them. Please feel free to add any sources you may have and the experiences that you have had with them.
http://www.gunbroker.com - This is the largest auction site on the web dedicated to firearms, ammunition and accessories. I use this site a LOT and not just for buying or selling items. I use it as a source of information. The trick is to know how to read the information that’s there. I will frequently look up the going price for an item on Gunbroker before buying it at a store or gun show. It also allows me to see new products that might not be in stock at the local gun dealers yet and what prices they should be selling for when they are. Gunbroker also has an excellent forum section that allows you to get information about a firearm or ammunition before spending your hard earned money on it.
http://www.auctionarms.com - Not a bad auction website but a lot smaller than Gunbroker so it doesn’t have the selection or price competition that Gunbroker does. That is, like most things, a double edged sword. Since there is less competition, dealers tend to have higher starting bids. SInce there are fewer bidders, the prices don’t seem to rise as far as fast. It isn’t my first choice for a firearms auction site, but you can find good deals on the more unique items as there are fewer people bidding on them.
That’s it for the auction sites that I’ve used. I know there are other ones out there so everyone feel free to speak up and let me know what you’ve found

Ammo links:
These are all reputable companies though I haven’t personally dealt with some of them. This is a real scavenging operation when it comes to ammo these days. Political instability around the world has made the commodities market very unstable with wildly fluctuating prices being the norm. This has driven up the prices of the raw materials used to produce ammunition and with it the price. Likewise, UN interference has caused the cost of surplus ammunition to skyrocket as UN officials try to stem the flow of ammunition into war torn regions with one ludicrously ineffective resolution after another.
http://www.samcoglobal.com - This place has a limited selection of ammunition available, but the prices on what they have are superb. It’s not match grade uber accurate bench rest ammo, it’s simply surplus ammo from whichever government is rotating their stocks this particular month. They also have a wide selection of surplus military bolt action rifles available for sale at excellent prices.
http://www.rguns.net - Plain and simply put great prices on surplus ammo. Again not the best selection but nothing they can do about that. They are swamped since just before the election so delivery time isn’t overnight, but you do get your stuff for a great price without getting killed on shipping charges. Good about responding to email inquiries as long as you aren’t ridiculous in your demands. You just have to realize that while you are a customer, you aren’t the only customer, so it might take them a day or two to respond. As a former retail manager who had to run a mail order operation from the store, I am acutely aware of the nightmare these guys are going through and wish them the best in dealing with it.
More to follow………….
